This is to put in your self-foaming pump, which produces instant thick lather. The smell is relaxing and mild. I do not find it more drying than any other hand washing product, and I have 2 kids in diapers so I wash a lot. I do need to moisturize daily, once or twice, but need to do that even with the ultra moisture soaps so I have no complaints. I also like the Lavender and Shea moisturizer lotion, and shower gel.

We have an infant at home, so we blow through hand soap at an amazing rate. Each of these larger bottles has enough soap for two refills of a smaller dispenser bottle, so it’s at least reducing the number of plastic bottles we throw in the recycling bin.

As for the soap itself, it’s gentle, doesn’t dry out my skin, and leaves my hands clean enough to handle a baby. This scent is milder than the others as well, just a bit of lemon and a smidge of ginger.

A few technical notes on the bottle: when refilling your dispensers, just unscrew the top of the large bottle and pour. It comes with a squeeze-top-thingie like you see on shampoo bottles, but with a liquid as thin as this soap, it just makes a mess. Also, make sure to leave enough room in the dispenser bottle for the aerator; if you fill it up all the way, when you screw the top back on, you’ll end up with soap everywhere.
