What can I really say about batteries, especially Duracell. My only comment can be that what I received was older stock. So far, the batteries received are preforming alright, but the date on them is from two years ago.

New Duracell batteries I purchased last week at Lowes, are dated Mar 2015. The 24 batteries I received from the Amazon Seller are dated Mar 2013.

Update – Feb 1, 2009…

I used these 24 Pro-Cell batteries to fill up two flashlights that I keep around for emergencies only. Now, after little, or no use, both flashlights are completely dead and need brand new batteries.

I bought two of these. Couldn’t beat the price. They’re little, regarding the scale of a pack of Trident or Dentine chewing gum. They come with a normal male USB to mini male USB cable. They work nice with my bit-screen media player. I couldn’t give them a Palm Pre rating as I don’t own a Palm however otherwise they are pretty good. Time can tell how long they will last but I assume they will have a charge-recharge cycle like several alternative Lion battery.

The one little downside to those babies is there is a switch that you have got to turn on when you are completely ready to use them as an extra battery. The instructions caution to recollect to turn the switch off when not in use to stop unintended discharge of the Lion battery. The switch is the reason for the four star “Ease of Use” rating. Maybe I am being picky however it is simply a little annoying having to recollect to flip that switch off. I’d suppose that they could have designed-in an auto-on sensor that may detect when the battery was attached to a tool and turn it on.

Once the unit is connected to your device and switched on there is a twin color LED that indicates the relative amount of power left in the Duracell battery. It’s green when full power is available and it turns orange when the ability is getting low.

My son tried one along with his iPhone and said it didn’t work. I do not see why it would not and haven’t had a likelihood to analyze however I believe he may have forgotten to turn on the ability switch mentioned above.

I’ve got been using rechargeables for years, however these are in a very category of their own.
I received black top batteries, not the white top ones referred to within the previous reviews.

One try lasted over 500 pictures in my digital camera, whereas a set of camera disposables lasted two hundred and my older rechargeables only concerning 100. All on the identical trip and similar conditions across the board in the identical camera.

These are the most effective rechargeable batteries I have ever used. I take advantage of a La Crosse smart charger and it will a fantastic job of keeping them charged and in good shape.

It has not been long enough on behalf of me to notice any important loss in power due to time, however I can say they keep their charge just fine for more than a month whereas my old regular rechargeables could not sit in the camera more than some days without needing a recharge.

Highly recomended.

really have no experience with other chargers, but it seems OK to me until now (I have) since the 4th month. My two cents:
- Yes, it takes 4 AA batteries at the same time. No, it takes 4 AAA batteries at a time. Only 2 can be loaded at once, and lasts about 6 hours to do. Therefore, if you have something that 4 AAA batteries, willing to wait at least 12 hours before recharging takes.
- The light is that when the battery is fully charged, and indicates some green after the battery is fully discharged.

The duracell 15 minute charger runs at about [...] bucks, but it works great! Seriously. It’s better than the energizer charger and its energizer batteries.

I had gotten an energizer charger last year. Within months the charger went bad and I was recharging the AA energizer batteries on a generic charger. They take an hour to charge and if I don’t use them they discharge on their own.

Not so with the duracell kind. They don’t run dry on their own like the energizer ones. Be sure, however, to purchase the same batteries the 15 minute charger comes with.

I’m purchasing another pack of these babies, because the charger is so awesome and the batteries don’t run dry by just sitting there.

Look, spend a few more bucks; it’s worth it. Duracell rechargeable batteries with the 15 minute charger are THE BEST!

By the way, the charger also works with the energizer rechargeable batteries, and it charges them in 15 minutes. That’s right. I said 15 minutes. However, duracell DOES NOT RECOMMEND THIS.

Aside from duracell or energizer recharegeable, DO NOT PLACE ANY OTHER KIND OF BATTERY; if you do the light will blink with an error and not charge them, so stick to duracell only, if for no other reason, their batteries stay charged!
