Waring Pro WO50 Cordless Wine Opener Review

I got this so my wife could open bottles of wine without my help. I thought she would love it…wrong. It is effortless to open a bottle of wine. Reverse the switch and it easily removes the cork from the opener.

My wife’s complaints are that “it’s too big”, “it’s ugly on the counter”, “the bottle spins when I try to use it,” and finally “it wont go into the cork for me.”

My answers to her are, “it’s not that big,” “I think it looks nice,” “you have to hold the bottle with one hand when you use the opener,” and “take the old cork out before you try to open the next bottle of wine.”

We leave it plugged in all the time and have not had any problems with the battery or power since we purchased it 3 months ago.
