I’ve been using various foam depillatories, electric, and manual systems for approx. 30 years. The last 10 years I had used the Bump Fighter disposables and lately the Bic 2 blade disposables. They were OK, but you have to really look closely at your face in good light to see that spots were missed, especially the chin. They don’t flex and adjust to the surface of your face. If you’re careful and take your time, you can get a pretty close shave with them, but when you are rushing in the morning to get your family out the door – on time for school and work – quick is the word.

I opened a free sample that Gillette had sent me some 3 years ago, tried it, and fell in love. It was the best shave – no irritation – even against the grain, which I never did with the other systems for fear of razor bumps. I was truly impressed!

Now I’m looking for a good bargain on refills. After reading some of these critical but helpful reviews, I will definitely buy from a store. I really like them even if they are pricey. Going to have to work this cost thing out. I was nick free the first couple of times I used the Mach3 Turbo Cartridges – and that hasn’t happened in a long while.

DURACELL AA24 PROCELL Professional Alkaline Battery Review

What can I really say about batteries, especially Duracell. My only comment can be that what I received was older stock. So far, the batteries received are preforming alright, but the date on them is from two years ago.

New Duracell batteries I purchased last week at Lowes, are dated Mar 2015. The 24 batteries I received from the Amazon Seller are dated Mar 2013.

Update – Feb 1, 2009…

I used these 24 Pro-Cell batteries to fill up two flashlights that I keep around for emergencies only. Now, after little, or no use, both flashlights are completely dead and need brand new batteries.

I ordered this product through Amazon because they were becomming very difficult to find in the local stores. The Bounty Basic is just what it says ‘basic’ and I prefer them over the thick overly cumbersome, wasteful paper towels and was delighted to find them in the new Amazon grocery store.

I haven’t seen Bounty sold in the US since I was a kid, but I have found it, much to my delight, when travelling overseas. It’s got a very mild, delicate coconut aroma and taste. It is not as dense and sweet as a Mounds or Almond Joy. The last place I found it abroad was in Tahiti. Thank goodnes for Amazon!

These paper towels by Bounty are the best you can buy. They are soft on your hands, yet strong so they can wipe up spills on countertops and floors. They can also be used as cleaning cloths when using a little cleaning fluid to polish stainless steel appliances and the like. I have used these paper towels for well over a year now; my father swears by them.

The only negative that I can think of is that they are slightly more expensive than some of the other paper towels on the grocery shelf. However, you DO get what you pay for and if you can afford it these paper towels are the ones to choose. In addition, as Amazon notes, for the sake of safety don’t use these on a hot microwave and don’t let them stay in hot or heating ovens. Naturally they could ignite and a fire isn’t what you want!

Highly recommended as the best paper towels on the market!
